A tourist who was arrested for allegedly groping an on-duty policewoman inside the Burj Khalifa Metro Station in Dubai, has denied the allegations in a Dubai criminal court.
In his defence, 49-year old Kazakh told the court he only tapped the policewoman's shoulder from behind to ask for directions because, as a tourist he wasn't acquainted with his environment. However he was shocked when the officer in question shouted at him prompting two other officers on duty to arrest him.
Prosecutors insist he groped the officer and breeched her modesty, as two other officers on duty at the time testified to hurrying to the female officer's aid after they spotted Kazakh touching her as she shouted '' please don't touch me.
The verdict has been set for May the 17th.
