Many fleeing because too afraid to remain in the city

The prime minister of Nepal, Sushil Koirala has expressed fears that the death toll following the country's deadliest earthquake in 81 years could rise up to 10,000.
The current official number of those killed has reached over 4,000 with over 7,000 said to be injured.
A lot of the residents of Kathmandu are still living on the streets in the open, many too afraid to go back into their own homes, with those who are able fleeing the city.
An appeal has gone out to the International community to double the efforts of supplying aids especially tents and medicine.
Our Prayers continue to go out to the people of Nepal .
