South Africa continue to see a surge in alcohol related offences and government officials in a bid to clamp down on alcohol abuse are proposing a new law that will increase the legal drinking age from 18 to 21.
This law will also aim to prevent bar staff from serving alcohol to already drunk fellows by making them liable for the drunk person's actions.
