You don't have to bare it all to be successful in the music industry says 31-year old Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, a  former 'girls aloud' UK pop group bandmate and X factor Judge, who is presently enjoying success after going solo.

According to her, behind the music scene is dominated by men most especially older men who encourage these girls to sexualize themselves in order to sell records but this shouldn't be the case as most of these girls have all the talent which should be the primary focus. 

She has however been criticised by many as being a hypocrite because she has been guilty of flashing skin in the past in scanty costumes, but she has said in her defence that although she did wear some short outfits that were quite sexy especially during her time with the band, they were meant to be fun and quirky and not in any way intended to be sexual.
