TOURISTS have reportedly been hospitalised after swimming in a Spanish toxic dump because the water looked amazing.
Visitors desperate for the perfect Instagram pictures jumped in what appeared to be pristine waters. The turquoise lake in Galicia, Spain, also known as “Galician Chernobyl “ is actually the site of an old tungsten mine dating from World II and has been abandoned since the 1980s.
The stunning blue of the water comes from chemical contamination and can cause serious health issues.
