This is quite an interesting study carried out by some professors at the University of Texas. The study used data from a sample of 3724 men aged 20 and above and found that 42 percent of the men who drank at least 2 cups of coffee a day which provides between 85 and 170 milligrams of caffeine were less likely to report cases of erectile dysfunction regardless of weight and level of blood pressure as opposed to the non-coffee drinkers.
This according to the researchers is probably due to the fact that the caffeine which is naturally present in coffee triggers a series of pharmacological effect that relaxes the arteries and muscle thereby increasing blood flow to the penis.
According to the NHS about half of men aged between 40 and 70 will have erectile dysfunction to some degree.

It may be still worth bearing in mind that some other researches say that too much coffee in the system could jeopardise one's health.
