24- year old Stuart Taylor who bought large quantity of cocaine-like
drug online and sold to end users at a local pub in
Scotland narrowly escaped getting a feel of life behind bar as he was instead
sentenced to an eight month period of electronic tagging and 150 hours of
unpaid work.
Taylor claimed to believe he was acting within the law as
mephedrone is a synthetic stimulant and a legal high manufactured in Europe, the drug is commonly referred to on the streets as 'meow meow' but prosecutors
think he is a profiteering peddler of death and his actions criminal.
Mr Taylor's lawyer argued that he shouldn't be sent to jail
since he was in full time employment and would lose his job with nothing to
come back to after his time.
