Two years ago 24-year old Callum Biggs was involved in a camping accident causing him to suffer over 45 percent burns. Biggs spent seven days in coma and was given a 10 percent chance of surviving.

Biggs not only beat the odds of surving, he went on to university to study engineering. Upon graduation his parents bought him a one-way business ticket aboard Emirates flight using their frequent flyer points from Perth to London, to celebrate not just his graduation but also his overcoming the odds and having the courage to pick himself up and pursue his dreams.
 
One cabin crew member aboard the flight heard his story, got the rest members of her team together and they all signed a card in eight languages wishing him all the best in life. To be give a personalised card with a picture of him taken while he was boarding was the icing on the cake according to Biggs as it made him feel very special and welcomed.
